MY PROCESS
philosophy
The primary and most essential step of my branding process is to explore (or set) the philosophy of the product (or a brand). It is what we believe, it's the spirit, and the essence of the brand. Once we're clear with the philosophy of the product, we can then move to subsequent steps, all works should follow and in the meantime strive to deliver this philosophy in a certain degree.
Aesthetic
A product has its own aesthetic. And even a minor detail in this product expresses the aesthetic of the product. A consistency helps build the identity of a certain product. In this stage, aesthetic of the product is set and it influences all following steps and even all stages of the product life.
Looks
The looks of a product really matter. Since the users tend to learn about the product firstly by taking a look of it. The interface is the part that directly faces the users. Every element of the look conveys the philosophy and aesthetic of the product. Lines, shapes, colors, textures, they all present the uniqueness of a certain product. It should make the users recognize the brand at the moment they see it, they identify it instantly and say I know this brand.
activities
The activities are what we do besides producing the product, like promotions, presentations, and whatever related to this product. Campaigns, sale posters, presentation slides or reels, and even when attending a fair, the installtion of our booth speak for the brand. I believe that all relevant activities are responsible for keeping the style, the aesthetic and the philosophy of the product.

S + M - an independent new accessory brand
S + M is a multidisciplinary fashion studio, currently focused on accessory design (bowties, chokers, bracelets and tattoos). I founded it with my friends in 2013.
● philosophy
We selected some keywords as the philosophy for S + M: natural, unisex, jazz, and rock'n'roll.
● Aesthetic
We also set some keywords for the aesthetic: retro, minimal, and comfortable to wear. Hear minimal has some sub keywords:
1. with pattern / without pattern but with designed decors
2. basic simple patterns
3. natural material.

The looks of our products deliver our philosophy and aesthetic. Below are some of the examples.
